Fattoush is a salad that contains many different types of vegetables. It is a Lebanese heritage meal that shows the Lebanese people’s distinctive relationship with their land. The Lebanese often prepare fattoush from cultivated vegetables that they personally planted and took care of until harvest time.
Its meaning goes beyond just a meal to a deeper meaning of love for the land and the result of one’s hard work that one reaps. The Lebanese prefer eating fattoush in the summer, especially because of the feeling of refreshment that fresh vegetables give during extreme heat. In addition, it is the perfect choice to make children who are picky eaters eat vegetables that are beneficial and necessary for the body to facilitate the digestion process since they are rich fiber.
Other than that, “Fattoush Bowl” is considered an ideal touch during dinner invitations due to its distinctive colors that reflect positively on the psyche and give the eater appetite.
