After the Crash : about the novel
Two identities, two names, two families, two lives. This is the curse of the Wonder Girl who survived a terrible plane crash that claimed the lives of all its passengers except her. A baby girl defied death and lived. But there were two baby girls on that plane, Emily and Liz Rose. One of them is the daughter of a poor, humble family, and the second is the daughter of a very wealthy family. Which one of them is Wonder Girl? This is the mystery that required a private investigator to figure out, and that haunted this case for 18 years. All these years, the private investigator has been searching for evidence in the smallest details of the case to put an end to this mystery, in a time when DNA testing did not exist. When the child prodigy reaches adulthood, we find the detective dead in his apartment after claiming to have found the truth of a mystery that has haunted him for nearly two decades. Leaving behind him his diaries as a birthday gift for the mysterious girl, where he mentioned that the key to the mystery is reviewing what happened after that specific period.
My opinion about the ” After The Crash novel”
After The Crash is a detective novel that takes the breath of its readers. The closer we get to the end of a dark tunnel, the more we find that it is another dead end. The more we cling to hope and think we know the identity of Wonder Girl, the more writer Michel Bussi leaves us with a pool of doubt and uncertainty. The novel also sheds light on many social issues such as class and what despair and money can do to decide someone’s fate. As well as the importance of family relationships and their complexity. Finally, the great writer imbues the plot with a shy, unclear love story, whose fate twists like a flower in the midst of a storm of successive events. Will the storm fade, and the buds of this love story blossom? Or will the storm uproot the flower and throw it into the clutches of death?
I hope you like the novel. Share your opinion with us in the comments if you have read this novel.
